I
was born here in Murihiku and spent my formative years between
Wellington and Invercargill, returning to the latter at age 10. I left
Murihiku 8 years ago and have been living, studying and working in
Christchurch.
I am extremely fortunate to have returned to my
hometown to take up the position of Manager of AOD services here at
NKMPT. For the last 2 and a half years I have been working at He Waka
Tapu in Christchurch, as a clinical case worker in the AOD team.
Previous to my role at He Waka Tapu I worked at Odyssey House in
Christchurch as a youth /residential worker.
On a personal note,
I am dedicated to this mahi and firmly believe in providing/delivering
services to Maori, and the wider community in such a way as to be of
value. NKMPT is such a service and I look forward to my future here.
